CAT6 cables deliver ultra-fast internet speeds at up to 250 MHz, with a maximum speed of 10 Gbps (Gigabits per second) over shorter distances (up to 55 meters or 180 feet) and 1 Gbps over longer distances (up to 100 meters or 328 feet). They are ideal for high-performance home or office networks. S/FTP cables combine the features of both STP and FTP. Each twisted pair is individually wrapped in foil, and the entire bundle of pairs is enclosed in an additional braided or foil shield.
