UK Channel Development Manager

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated UK Channel Development Manager to join the sales team.

The successful candidate be responsible for supporting a group of nominated value-added resellers in the UK to enable them to meet and exceed company sales and margin growth expectations. Target VARs with which strong relationships are needed are Capita, Computacenter, Softcat, SCC, Daisy, IGX, Millgate, SHO, Insight, XMA & NTT DiData.

This position will be UK based and will report directly into our VP of Channel Sales, EMEA & I.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the nominated value-added resellers in all activities to drive pipeline opportunities and sales revenue.
  • Develop joint annual and quarterly business plans.
  • Work with Sales VP, EMEA and EMEA Marketing Director to develop and execute account strategies enabling growth.
  • Responsible for complete sales cycle; from quick and competitive quotes to assisting with issues regarding invoicing and following up of deliveries.
  • Meet agreed sales revenue and margin targets.
  • Deliver against weekly, monthly and quarterly performance KPIs.
  • Report sales activity and opportunities weekly using Salesforce and attend sales management meetings as required.
  • Contribute to product & customer strategy development.
  • Effectively manage nominated VAR accounts and maintain an extensive knowledge of their requirements and business needs.
  • Regularly visit the nominated VAR customers and maintaining top level relationships with their clients.
  • Represent AddOn and build partner relationships through regular partner contact.
  • Introduce and keep abreast of new technologies.
  • Maintain and update customer information, activities, opportunities and tasks on Salesforce.
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with colleagues in Purchasing, Finance, Operations, Product Management, Marketing and Customer Service.
  • Adhere to company policy and work in line with the Company Quality Management System at all times.
  • Own and manage day to day activities including -
  • Business development, opportunity support and pipeline management.
  • Marketing activities, MDF and incentive programs.
  • Sales training and sales tools to enable sales engagement.
  • May be required to assist AddOn team in global locations from time to time.
  • May be required to manage, assist or contribute to company projects or business process improvements.

Skills Required

  • Proven experience of successful sales or business development specifically in IT or optical networking market with the above partners. Strong existing relationships with these partners required.

Distribution Account Manager, DACH & PL


We are looking to recruit a highly motivated Distribution Account Manager, DACH & PL to join the sales team.

The successful candidate be responsible for the sales of AddOn products to a defined number of distribution partners and for developing and managing these key partnerships within his/her defined region. The Distribution Account Manager will drive towards share gains and increase relevance within the set of partners. Target distributors are Tech Data, Westcon/Comstor, Komsa and Nuvias.

This position will be home based in Germany and will report directly into our VP of Channel Sales, EMEA & I based in the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Selling AddOn products to and through the distribution partners into the OEM channel, predominantly in the German market.
  • Drive the distributor and partner development strategy for the region, particularly growing the unmanaged partner base.
  • Develop strong distribution and partner presence in the regional market with related quality and enablement activities
  • Manage key distributors, including forecasting, quota attainment, sales presentations and opportunity management
  • Position products and solutions and articulate AddOn strategies to senior management.
  • Expand relationships with distribution partners for leads and joint marketing/sales activities.
  • Work closely with the regional AddOn sales teams to ensure the successful implementation of the indirect sales model. Create a productive sales ecosystem between partner/reseller, distributor and AddOn.
  • Provide accurate and timely forecasts for commercial/enterprise business to sales management using Salesforce.
  • Co-ordinate marketing activities within region distribution channels.
  • Manage the effective planning and utilisation of allocated Marketing Development Funding (MDF).
  • Develop a broad-based technology awareness, complemented by knowledge of the data networking arena.
  • Manage the logistical element between AddOn and selected distributors.
  • Manage the quarterly inventory planning process to support an efficient supply chain
  • Be the AddOn go-to person and champion for the broad reseller channel

Skills Required

  • Significant sales experience in Enterprise IT distribution and reseller ecosystem.
  • Strong knowledge and relationships in the Cisco OEM channel.
  • Strong existing relationships with the above OEM distributors in Germany, Austria, Switzerland & Poland.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

Digital Marketing Specialist

We are looking for a dynamic individual to build our online branded web business, and to join our marketing team! The Digital Marketing Specialist acts as the primary merchandiser of our webstore, initiating merchandising and marketing activities to drive customer engagement and bring new traffic to the site. The candidate would be responsible for managing the setup and presentation of products, promotions, and categories on our branded websites. In addition, the candidate will have a large voice in the overall user experience, test strategies and workflows and be the liaison between the Product, Operations, and Marketing teams.

The Digital Marketing Specialist works to optimize SEO, paid search, build out affiliate programs, email campaigns, online navigation, product sorting rules and overall site presentation based on analytics (traffic, conversion, etc.). Work to plan a pipeline of content whether written blogs or video will be a critical strategy to engage customers. This individual may also liaison with operations teams which includes customer service to resolve any issues.

In addition to the e-commerce branded site, we have other brands in which the Digital Marketing Specialist will be actively supporting. This individual must be a team player within a highly collaborative, fast paced environment.   • Provide technical enablement to all customers, including product and solution training, roadmap updates, hands-on training, and developing;/producing product demonstrations.
  • Communicate highly technical concepts to a variety of audiences, including customer engineers and technical decision makers.

  • Working knowledge [hands-on preferred] and deep understanding of data networking infrastructures, architectures, concepts, and associated technologies: Route/Switch L2/L3, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, Routing Protocols (BGP/ISIS/OSPF, etc.), MPLS, LDP, L2/L3 VPN, Multicast, CL, FW.
  • Working knowledge of DWDM/CWDM optical transport systems, switches, routers, modules, platforms in major network equipment such as Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Ciena, Nokia/ALU, etc. DOCSIS CMTS, Edge QAM, Outside Plant, and HFC understanding a plus.
  • Excellent organizational, collaborative work skills, communication skills, and interpersonal skills, presentation, and time-management skills.
