This is a 6ft black DisplayPort 1.2 male to female extension cable. This DisplayPort 1.2 male-to-female extension cable adds reach to an existing DisplayPort run, with a male connector for the source side and a female connector that accepts any standard DisplayPort cable. Over its HBR2 link it carries 3840x2160 (4K UHD) at 60Hz video and multi-channel audio on a single connection. It is ideal for extending a workstation or gaming-PC connection to a 4K monitor that sits beyond the reach of the original cable, or for relocating a DisplayPort connection on a desk or AV rack. The female termination keeps the existing cable in place while adding length exactly where it is needed.
